A Glimpse of the Atmosphere at Quras Meetup!
Hello everyone,
First thing first, we want to thank you all for coming and making our first meetup so awesome. Our community keeps growing, and it makes us happy to see so many new faces every day. And for all those that could not make it (and those that were with us), here is a recap of the meetup and some fun photos we took during the event.
The meetup was held on 19th January in Tokyo. You can read all the details about the program here, in our announcement posted prior to the meetup.
Approximately 200 people from all around the world attended first official Quras meetup. We had five prominent presenters:
1. PumaPay
PumaPay is an innovative payment platform for merchants. Their mission is to empower merchants by combining the potential of the Blockchain with the flexibility and scalability of credit cards, making it possible to accommodate day-to-day payment scenarios on the Blockchain, while facilitating the use of cryptocurrencies in daily life.
2. Dent
Dent is a Blockchain platform for transfer of mobile data. They aim to disrupt the mobile operator industry by creating an open marketplace for buying and selling of mobile data.
3. Jack Liao
Jack Liao is a founder of Bitcoin gold and Bitcoin cache classic.
4. Quras
We have presented our project too, focusing on the privacy aspects of our blockchain and secret contracts which have not been seen in the crypto industry so far. More information is available on Quras website.
5. Andrew Wong (CFO of Quras) IDCM
Andrew Wong is a managing partner at IDCM and a CFO at Quras. IDCM is one of the top exchanges in the world, aiming to transform the traditional financial markets by harnessing the power of blockchain and financial innovation.
The Party
After the presentation part, the party followed — like in every nice meetup. Jua, an outstanding artist and a model, performed his greatest hits and Crypto Girls handed out original Quras sunglasses. The sunglasses were available in three colors and were worn as a symbol of privacy protection. Then an airdrop draw was hosted, where four winners received Quras tokens.
The majority of Japanese Crypto media covered the event and interviewed our guests and us. Thank you all! Attended Media:
