QURAS and Staking — Why Should You HODL QURAS coins?

Recently, staking has become a global topic. Staking is a mechanism that allows you to receive a portion of a newly issued digital currency or commission as a reward in exchange for not selling your own cryptocurrency for a certain period of time. In other words, we can say it is a reward for holding digital currency.

In general, just holding a cryptocurrency doesn’t mean you’ll get any extra coins. However, by using staking, you can receive coins similar to the way a bank pays out interest. Therefore, there is an interest in the world to use staking as one of the asset management methods.

QURAS includes staking mechanisms and provides an advantage for those who hold mid to long-term cryptocurrencies.

QURAS offers two types of staking. Let’s see what each of them includes.

Staking with QURAS coin

The staking of QURAS coin is similar to the system banks use for interest payments.

This is the easiest staking that anyone can do. All you have to do is hold a QURAS coin (XQC).

In general, if you use a blockchain, you will pay a transaction fee. With the QURAS blockchain, you will pay QURAS GAS coins (XQG) as a transaction fee.

One way to get this XQG is by staking QURAS coin. XQC holders will be able to obtain XQG once every 18 seconds simply by having XQC in the wallet.

However, the above applies when XQC is placed in a transparent wallet address. On the other hand, if you are using an anonymous wallet, XQG will be burned automatically. For this reason, the more the QURAS blockchain anonymous function is used, the higher the value of XQG is expected to rise.

In addition, the staking of the QURAS coin is set with a difficulty of mining XQG.

Every time 2 million blocks are generated in the QURAS blockchain, the difficulty increases. Since QURAS block generation time is 18 seconds, the difficulty increases every 416 days.

Generally speaking, the selling pressure in the market will drop as the difficulty rises. As a result, the selling pressure of XQG is expected to decrease.

Of course, staking can be used after the main network of QURAS is up and running. Mainnet operation is scheduled for January-March 2020.
