QURAS Project Update: Windows Wallet, Block Explorer, and Testnet are LIVE!

We are here to give you a complete update regarding the progress we made in the past months as well as to announce the first tangible results of our work that will be available for public use.
QURAS Wallet
After over a year of intensive development and testing, our wallet is finally here! The wallet is available for all of our users, and it has been built with the best architecture available.

Currently, we are working on implementing Ring signature on blockchain and wallet. After implementing it, the stealth address will be available for use with QURAS wallet.
zk-SNARKs will be possible to use in the Windows wallet now. If we update zk-SNARKs for faster encryption, it will be possible to use it on web, mobile, mac.
QURAS wallet for Mac OS will be coming soon. Android and iOS wallet is progressing well and we will announce their release shortly.
In addition, we are launching our native block explorer on testnet, where anyone can check network status, blocks, consensus nodes and more. When we are completely sure that everything runs smoothly, we will do a hardfork on the testnet.

The Whitepaper and Technical Documents
The whitepaper is currently being renewed with a more technical approach. We want everyone to be able to fully understand our vision from both social and technical aspect.
The technical paper is completed and awaits check from our engineers.
Testnet
Our testnet is also underway, and we are quickly approaching our next milestone. The first release of QURAS network on testnet will happen soon and we expect it to be implemented in the following weeks. The network will be fully operational and available for review and feedback.
Transaction fee refund is also live on the testnet. With this feature, the token manager (token issuer) can earn a transaction fee from its smart contract transaction. And they can set a smart contract fee for each function. If the token manager sets the higher fee, they can earn more and if he/she sets the lower fee, they can earn less but it would be good for the users. We will give an opportunity for everyone to choose the way they want to use their token.
We are thinking of everyone’s merit. And for that reason, we wanted to reward all those who use this platform based on a common good idea. Platform users will be:
- Transaction user
- The market maker or investor
- Project manager using QURAS smart contracts
- Consensus node
QurasGas will be mined every about 15 seconds. QurasGas holder can stake QurasGas which is used for smart contract transactions. QurasGas will be sent to the user’s wallet every day. We will update our protocol in the future to share transaction fees with Quras Coin holder.
